Transcription: A hard disk was originally a very large and fragile way of storing large amounts of information until the invention of the hard disk card in 1985 which was only one inch thick and could hold up to 10 megabytes of information. Today, these drives are incredibly fast and are available in many sizes up to 1,200 megabytes. They're now the standard method of storing large amounts of information in computer installations.
